Pretty Fall Day

Today is such a pretty Fall day....I am going to miss when we can't get out and do our walks and runs with the stroller.  I thought these trees in our neighborhood were pretty.  I took these with the camera in my phone and I have no idea how the weird one turned like that.

Halloween Party

Last night Pat and I went to George & Deana's annual Halloween costume party.  Can you guess who I was?  That's right, Daphne from Scooby Doo!  Pat was a liberal college student.  He only got in one fight about politics, so I guess that was pretty good.
I think the best costume was this "killer bee."

Oodnn, Oodnn

Oodnn, Oodnn!  That's the sound Gabby makes for a car.  Here she is in Da Da's new ride.  It is very quick!

The Office

Last night we watched a highly anticipated episode of the The Office where Jan has her baby.  In this episode Dwight and Michael talk about how they have to mark the baby with a Sharpie so that it does not get mixed up in the nursery and she doesn't go home with the wrong baby.  PAT AND I ACTUALLY DID THIS.   How did they steal our idea??!!

Lake Fort Smith

Today we ventured up to Lake Fort Smith to go hiking.  Pat borrowed one of those cool Kelty Kid Backpacks (to put Gabby in), but she wouldn't have anything of it.  When we got there a couple of guys were playing guitar and singing and Gabby started dancing (see photo).
I was all pumped to do a hike, but she got cranky not very far into it.  We didn't plan very well and went too close to nap time, so we'll have to go back up when the leaves are really turning.  The new park is nice!

little stinker

Okay, so I don't really know what I'm doing yet.  Pat pointed out that I named my whole blog "Sunday" when I meant to name the last particular post.  Will have to come up with a catchy name. Reminds me when Pat made fun of me many yrs. ago about my Business Policy homework. I would always propose that all a business needed was a catchy jingle to be successful.
Anyway, a few weeks ago Gabby decided to push the screen and crawl out our dining room window.  Luckily I wasn't far away and found her playing in the flower bed and saying "Hi Mama!" I told Pat he couldn't leave the windows open anymore since our bedroom window is much higher.  He didn't listen and left it open a little bit.  Well, today I caught her throwing food out the window to the dogs and laughing.  Which is what she is going to be for Halloween......a dog.

Blogging newbie

I saw a guy the other day w/ a t-shirt on that said "No one cares about your blog"  I started thinking about why I never started one.......I think because some of the ones I've seen are all me, me, me......I didn't think that people cared what I was doing!
But, now I figure that people like to hear what little McNubbins (Gabby) is up to.
Yesterday at the Neumeir's Fall Festival she was hard to keep up with.   It has really just now started at age 22 months that she can dart off really fast.  I bought a leash (which I said I would never do) when we took her to Seattle.
This second picture is how she likes to ride in her stroller now.  She takes off her shoes and props her feet up on the tray.  She also has a new habit of saying "Shew wee" every time she takes her shoes off.   I'm not sure who taught her this.  Da Da maybe?
