Gettin crafty w/ it

I need honest opinions.....are these flower arrangements I did too tall?  The ceiling is tall, but are they too tall for the containers?  I totally re-did these with flowers I found at A to Z in Alma.  For those of you that have not experienced A to Z, it is a compound of about six huge buildings with all of the random crap you could ever find.  I went on my birthday last week and shopped in the gift and furniture stores.  I got all kinds of miscellaneous stuff I didn't need!  Anyway, these urns used to be a boring dark dull grey color.  So I painted them!

Class tonight

Here are some photos from last week.  I woke up early one of the days and went to a 6 a.m. Zumba class.  Yes, 6:00 in the morning.  The only time I've been anywhere this early in my life was when I worked in surgery right out of high school!  When I was coming home the sun was coming up and I got this shot from my deck.  I have ordered a couple of Tracy Anderson's workout videos that got here yesterday.  I got the cardio dance and the post-pregnancy workout (yeah, I know I had Gabby 2 yrs. ago).  I am really trying to get in good shape!  I have never been one to stick to a diet, so maybe if I up my activity I can still eat and drink as I please.  Maybe?
My 4-wk photography class starts tonight.  I am excited!

Branson

We decided to do a little get-a-way this weekend to Branson.  We went to the Landing downtown, which I had not see before.  Fun!  Got to eat sushi and we stayed at the Chateau on the Lake.  They still had Christmas decorations up that were very pretty and unique.  There was a Santa hanging from the ceiling of the hotel that happened to be just outside of our room. Gabby got a kick out of this.  The guys also babysat while my friend Deana and I got massages at the spa.  I thought this was very cool of them!  I feel refreshed and ready to get back on schedule from the holidays.  Happy New Year!

Christmas morning

First of all, Gabby slept until 10;30 Christmas morning and we had to wake her up.  She is not normal.  We got her a little guitar, a saxophone, and a big tent - she loves to sit in it and play music.  Kumbahya! I jumped the gun and got her a bike called a Skuut.  It doesn't have pedals, but it's supposed to help them develop balance. Even on the lowest setting,  she's too short for it, so she got all excited and then I had to take it away from her. This was by far the best Christmas Pat and I have had in our 11 Christmases together!  Gabby's 3rd Christmas, but the first one she really got into it.  After it was all done, she was doing sign language for "more" with her little hands (which I didn't realize she remembered) and saying "More presents please."

These were taken at my parent's house on Christmas.  I am having a lot of trouble getting the photos to upload. My parents got a table and chairs out of their attic for Gabby that both of my nieces and one other little boy used.  It looks brand new.  I don't know how they manage to keep things in such good shape!  I like the 32-piece tea set, but it's getting hard to keep up with all these little things that come with toys!  My house needs an organizational overhaul.  Someone help!
p.s. notice there are 8 people in my family gathering.  If we had a group picture of Pat's it would be more like 50 just in immediate family!!!

Christmas Day

These were taken before we went to my parent's on Christmas Day.  I'm still trying to figure out my camera.  Pat bought me a DVD series for the specific model.  I think it will be better than reading the user's manual.  Just have to find some time to concentrate!
