Gabby had her birthday yesterday and we opted to just have our parents over for dinner and cake instead of doing a big party like last year. It was so nice! She loved being with her Mimi, Pop Pop, Mema, and Papa. Pat and I both got emotional thinking about how fast 2 yrs. has passed and how thankful we are for our families.

Happy Birthday Gabby! So sad how fast they grow up! She looks like such a big girl. We still have her birth annoucement on our scrapboard, seems like just yesterday...

Oh my gosh...the D700 is the "big time" of Nikon...is it a professional? We'll have to come over for a photo shoot...ha! How NEAT...your pictures are going to be soooo awesome! I have found several blogs about Nikons that give tips and advice. I have concluded that lighting, lens filter, and experience have the biggest part in good photos....but I still have no idea how to get pro quality pics. Who knows...I guess practice makes perfect, huh?
